KingsRule
Hey guys, the forecast isnt looking so great for this weekend i rekon i might give middle harbour a shot for kings on the boat. I have only fished pickering point before in this area. Would anyone be able to give me some locations (pm or anything) , or point me in the right direction. Or just a general idea on what to look for when sounding . Not asking to reveal secret spot or anything just some guidence Thanks guys
henryinnis
We were testing the boat one time (our first run, haven't cuaght a king YET!), and saw a bait ball with serious fish around it! We were with a fisho (also a boat mechanic) and he said they were probably kings......

Davy
ive only ever caught one undersize king around the few moored boats on the east side of the spit bridge. but there could be some better ones lurking around there Edited March 28, 2007 by Davy

namesay
Middle harbour has some excellent kingfish. This area is one of my favourites and I have been known to catch a few fish from here. The advantage MH has over the parra river is its depth. It also has very little freshwater inflow and that is why you'll get the pelagic fish in there. You'll find kings from anywhere from the spit bridge to roseville bridge and even beyond. There are some kings in there at the moment but the main harbour is where the action is. They are spread out pretty thin in mh at the moment and are hard to track down . A bit hit and miss but the main harbour has them in droves in all the markers.
