Guest IFishSick.
Cast out further, the littlies hang underneath the warf Also the best way is to fish floating bait, maybe a split shot, that gives best results for Bream, Trevally and Snapper. Davy
try use tougher bait, like squid depending on the species ur targeting. i also read in a fisho mag recently that fish heads, in particular whiting heads are the 'gun' bait for big bream the little'uns pick at the eyes and stuff, leaving the head for the mums and daddys to crunch on Cheers Davy

mark*
try some sp's maybe also the littler fish may have a go if they are greedy enough to but wont hook up. also the bigger fish just love them also. berkley 3" minnows nail bream and around a structure like a wharf they go off. can i ask though will this be the wharf near the sand flats at woy woy? regards mark

henryinnis
When we went to Dirk Hartog Island, we always used whiting heads. Picked up about 70 snapper on the boat, all legal and all above the 50cm mark, no Bulls#%t.... But that wasn't off a wharf. I generally cast out far and wide and the pickers are all afraid of the bigger ones. I reckon whiting heads would be awesome though, like Davy said....
