Snakes

Hi all,

I was just eating some snakes (the sweet jelly ones that you buy from the supermarket).

They do look like certain soft plastics. Just wondering if anyone has used those for fishing.

i havent usedf snakes buy i have used red jubes and got a 25cm bream so i spouse they works

Thats an interesting idea..... I wonder though if they could smell the snake's flavour?

Surely someone must have used them?

I've got a few Flatties on the snakes & a few Bream hits but missed those. I got the idea when I took my son down to H.C Bay one day & I took a pack of snakes with us to snack on. The fish were pretty thick & I reckon they would have hit anything. The snakes worked.

They go a bit hard after they've been in saltwater though & can be a bugger to get off the hook.

few good point i can see using snakes are

snakes could also work out to be cheaper than plastics.

any left overs can also be consumed by the fisho.

I caught a flattie on a orange natural confectunary company snake on australia day!

Had had a couple of beers and thought it would be a good joke! when suddnly i was on! it was only a baby 15 - 20cm or something!
