costello
Hi all. I'm heading up to the Brisbane Waters (Davistown) this weekend and was just wondering if anyone from the area, or who has been there, can tell me if I would be wasting my time trying to catch squid (I have a boat) or if I should just make the trip across the mouth to Pittwater to my usual haunts for squid? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Mark
Mondo Rock
Hi Mark I've been reliably informed that Wagstaff Wharf will produce squid on occasion, and have also heard of them taken under the Rip Bridge (on slack tide). I've tried a number of times however and have been unsuccessful on each occasion. I would think that the trip into Pittwater would yield better results. Guest rzep
Thanks fella's. Where is half-tide rock rzep? I'm fairly familiar with the area. Cheers, Mark It is near Wagstaff Mark. Here is a map for you. Any where along the shoreline east of Half Tide Rocks can produce also. Edited April 11, 2007 by rzep
