 Hello to all fellow raiders,

I am looking for two x lifejackets for my 6yr old and 3yr old sons.

They are keen to come out on dads boat in the future.

I am happy to introduce them to boat fishing provided they wear life vests.

I am after PFD 1 - (12 to 25 kg) range.

Before going to the store looking for them I thought I may try my luck with you guys first there may be some stashed away in someones garage which the kids have out grown.

Any suggestions on where to buy from if this option does not come up trumps.

Wattos also has vests available , not sure whether he stocks kids sizes or not.

Ross

Wattos does have them in kids sizes - I tried one on my son (6) but it actually was the right size for my daughter (nearly 4).

In saying that my son did comment on how "good" it felt on, followed by "am I getting this dad?"!!!!!

I've got one that will fit your 3 yr old and it should give you a couple of years. All 3 of mine have outgrown it now. It is a good jacket that has had little use really and was not kept on the boat so it's not damaged. It is a little faded though as it's now about 12 years old.

It has the strap that goes right through between the legs and the full vest with a strong loop at the back to allow you to lift the child out of the water if needs be.

I'll ask the :wife: what she wants for it. Won't be much I'm sure.
