A friend caught the GT when we were on a fishing holiday way up north. Saw a big grey shape from the fly bridge inside the reef on our way out and soon found out the grey shape was made up of many. They go hard, even on 10kg tackle

Made good bait as the coral trout, red emperor, job fish and every thing else had no objection. We all came home with an esky full of fillets and in the good books of family and friends. The coral trout is one of the best fish I have had the opportunity to eat
