Harrington May 2007

Thursday 3 May it was a beautiful day so we headed out to Crowdy Heads caught a few small fish and a couple of Western red rock cod.

As it was nice and calm Mr D bit the bullet and went outside, just a little to see if he would get sick.

Wahoo no sea sickness, maybe I can get him out further next time.

We had a nice session at Harrington (in the river) on Friday 4 May.

Caught a lot of 'just legal' flatties which we let go.

Then we found the right spot and caught a few bigger and kept just enough for dinner.

Mr D had a lot of plastics chewed up by tailor.

On Sunday we had better luck with all flatties being a nice size all were released.

I also caught an octopus and I though I had a really nice flathead until this toad showed its ugly face.

Heading to Jindabyne next week hopefully we will get some nice trout.

Can't wait for Forster.

How big is that toad? From the pic it looks enormous.

I love Harrington and Crowdy Head - what a beautiful place to be - you just need to be careful at high tide on Crowdy Head Beach.

Well done on the flatties.

Cheers Marg

It was a good weekend up north.

I snuck into the area for the weekend visiting parents and inlaws, brothers etc. :biggrin2:

The usual rushed trip trying to keep family happy.

Here's a pic I took from on top of Pilot Hill on Sunday.
