Thunder
Hi Guys, Lets say you had 1/2 a day to kill after you dropped the at Homebush, where would you fish to catch "edible" fish ? - Land based. How far up the Harbour do you have to go and where are some good spots for some flatties (not expecting Kings that far up Harbour). Cheers Greg
Guest rzep
Thunder, There are plenty of places to fish around Homebush and there is some pretty good fishing around there but I would never eat anything within about 30 minutes drive from there. Flightmanager
As a simple rule of thumb , I wont eat anything West of The Gladesville Bridge. We have been eating fish that I have caught in the Harbour for the last 12 months without ill effect ! Ross

fishyfingers
get under the gladsville bridge and flick out some sp's for bream and flatties..... failing this, send out a strip of fresh squid with a couple of 7.0's, grab a book and relax. the old man that's been living in front of the marina for about 20 years goes out daily and is onto jewies at least 3-4 times a week from his little row boat.
