BalmainBob
Hi guys Where would i be able to find a price on a lowrance LCX27c chartplotter/ffinder/gps unit? Have searched the net for ZERO results. cheers james Hi James I bought the same unit from a place in New York and had it posted out. The total cost was $1540 AUD. The sender covered all the import costs and I had it within 5 days of them getting payment. The cheapest that I could find it for out here was at BIAS Boating for $2195.00 Have a look ar www.bonzerimports.com the LCX 27c is a great unit. netic
If you look around you can get them delivered to Aus for about $1200...including all charges and taxes... Just surf the net

Just surf the net James Be careful with the units that are being sold for around the $1200 AUD mark. They are the single frequaency model not the 50/200 MHZ. Make sure that you read the fine print. I almost got caught by only looking at how cheap the price was and not at what version of the unit it was. Also be careful that the postage costs that you are charged also include all of the Australian import duties. A unit that you can buy for around the $1200 AUD mark do not include that Australian Customs import duties. This will add atleast $300 Aud to the price. Check the Customs web site for further details Bob Edited May 23, 2007 by BalmainBob
