Is that a Barracuda or a Barracoutta,

I used to catch Barracouttas in NZ as a teenager.

I could be wrong but i always thought the longer of the two species were couttas,

and the stockier shorter ones were coudas.

Can anyone confirm this?

They are not good as table fare as their

flesh is usualy riddled with some type of parasite.

Fun to catch though,

Its a nice fish by the way

1.3mtrs of rocket powered smelly pike fish(reely), skip said it cuda not coota so aint gunna argue

about 8 kilo throw back taste like crap full of toxin (death), went like a rocket was fun for the dude who caught it

(not me) dont care was in whitsundays for 5 days going back asap and try for

some spaniards!

hey mark! it went off, but i was only watching! wrapped itself around the prop

and really was more trouble than it was worth for the deckie, but i got some good action shots.
