Hi everyone, today we trolled skirts from Sydney heads to about halfway

to New Zealand and back for zilch, the waves got more crapier the futher

we got out. Came back to the fad did a few drifts zilch again, done a quick

stop over near Bluefish pt,my 2 mates found it hard to concentrate on fishing

as they kept fighting over the binoculars,as a nude couple kept themselves

entertained on the rocks :1yikes: .

I managed a couple of Sgt Bakers, and a couple of 35 & 36cm Snappers and

2 Mowies 46 & 48cm,(Bakers went back in).

Came back in to Clifton for a bit, nothing much happening there only some just

undersize pinkies and Flatties. Called it a day.

My dinner tonight,

Hi Penguin,

You should have continued over to NZ as the snapper fishing has been absolutely superb in recent weeks. There have been huge work ups when the dinner gong has sounded and snapper around the 5-15lb mark the norm. But what is really amazing is how you can sit in an area for hours with nothing on the sounder and then within minutes theres 10m of fish on the bottom. . .. . .

You guys predominantly using SP's? and if so what makes, models, colours etc is doing the bizo for ya'll

Penguin. . The fish thats pictured is that what you call a Mowie?? It looks very similar to a fish we call porae .. pronounced pour - eye. . .. How big do they get over there??

Bummer about the trolling Penguin, you put in some K's. At least you got a couple of fish for the table, hide those Binoculars next time.
