Lewis Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 G,day Raiders. Please excuse my ignorance, but could somebody please explane what to look for when out wide searching for these indicators of probable fish holding areas. Obviously the temp break is a sharp rise or fall in the surface temp of the surrounding water, correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers in advance.
Guest Big-Banana Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 It's not so much sharp breaks, but rises or decreasing temperature readings. Definitely the best place to start looking for fin' or any other big game pelagic fish. Current lines are where I do 90% of my trolling. They are quite easy to see and they are mainly just a difference in colour.
Lewis Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 Cheers BB. So its a change in the colour of the waters surface that indicates a current line, cool that will help a great deal when you know what your looking for! Thanks again.
Guest Big-Banana Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Yeah mate, they might be a little hard to find, but you can bet if you do find them there'll be a few bait fish around and some bigger stuff not far away.
