Using Braid Off The Rocks

I read an article the other day about using braid for pigs and groper off the rocks...............any one ever tried it????

Wondering how an alvey handels the braid and if you get a lot of line twist?

I have learnt from other people and personal experience using braid off the rocks isn't the best idea, after my first trip using braid i had to cut ALOT of line off due to abrasion from underwater obstacles, i think i will stick to mono.

As advised braid snaps as soon as it touches anything sharp and solid under tension. Use mono it has better abrasion resistance.
