zrealist
Hi all, Just got asked by a friend about the legality of getting a net to gather bait in Sydney. I've told him I thought it is illegal but i'm not 100% sure. Thought I'll check it with you guys. Any help would be great. Thanks
Lewis
Hi all, Just got asked by a friend about the legality of getting a net to gather bait in Sydney. As far as I understand it the use of cast nets and gill nets is illegal in NSW, you would how ever be able to use a scoop net as when you are prawning to gather bait. Try www.fisheries.nsw.gov.au you will find all the relevant information there. Cheers.
