What Size Surf Rod,what Brand?

I NEED SOME HELP CHOOSING A SURF ROD TO MATCH A SHIMANO CALCUTTA 700 TO.I DONT WANT TO SPEND A FORTUNE(UNDER $100) BUT WANT A DECENT OVERHEAD SURF.wHAT DO YOU GUYS USE?

Have a look at the Shimano Backbone 10ft graphite overhead

U should get it below 100 box

Good rod and cast a mile, pretty strong too

THANKS GUYS,I WAS LOOKING FOR THE 10FT MARK TO 12FT MARK SO THAT HITS THE SPOT PERFECTLY.HOW STRONG IS THE GRAPHITE THOUGH.I GUESS I AM JUST A LITTLE OLD SCHOOL IN MY THINKING THAT FIBRE IS STRONGER.I WILL BE CHASING THE WINTER SNAPPER AND GUMMIES DOWN HERE AND NEED THE ROD TO BE TOUGH ENOUGH.
