How To Turn A Bad Day Around

Hi Fishraiders

Not sure if this has been touched on before or not!...................

But all things being equal single or twins yamaha or honda we have decided on our boat package

then what, or who has done or needed to carry out that repair to motor or boat.

River, or out at sea to enable to continue the day or indeed to get back home.

With out the obvious of sea tow etc as any one got suggestions or ideas what is good for the average boatie

that could or may help if it were to happen.

Example; those with a single motor if you were to do a bush to the prop short of throwing another one on

say out at sea(if you carry a spare that is) Will it limp home at low revs i have never experianced it before

Example; You are taking on water in the hull lets say an alarming amount we have bilge pump going but is not

coping i know if you remove the bung or bungs and get it up on the plane struggling maybe but the water will drain out of the hull.............................

but does that apply to all or some hulls.

Just wishing to share our past experiances between us so as to maybe avoid some of the pitfalls that can and do occur

what to carry or have on board what works what does not..... how to turn a bad day around :1yikes:

Cheers Steve
