Where do you disconnect the shift linkage..at the top or does a connection appear when you drop the leg? Can't quite see where you could do it at the top. Cheers Chris On the BRP site I think they still have a the complete breakdown of parts list and schematic diagrams that will show you which linkage you need to disconnect to drop off the gearbox. a boat Posted July 15, 2007 Share Posted July 15, 2007 Good Morning Chris, a water pump service is a relative easy process if you have basic mechanical experience. The hardest thing is removing the shift shart retaining srcew under the carbys. You might also need an oxy if it has not been off in the last 5 odd years because the bolts may be seized.
