Hooky. Posted July 16, 2007 Share Posted July 16, 2007 Location: Taree Rowing Club (Manning River) - Ramp situated at the end of Stevenson St, Taree. Parking/condition: Plenty of parking at the ramp. Summer time is busy. Plenty of room for launching, and preparing. Ramp has an excellent pontoon, as can be seen in the picture. Facilities: Good ramp for exploring the middle saltwater regions of the Manning River. Good ramp access with a gravel beach to one side (other side of pontoon) and retaining walls, as shown in the pic. All the shops, pub/club etc are located in Taree city centre which is just up the road. Good amenities such as toilets etc are located at/near the ramp as well as BBQ facilities.
