good question jdu174 and i hope readers will give you their opinions the zich on sunday and on the state of the lower reaches.

my opinion is :-

number 1 there is still not enough good water up there

number 2 the southerly influence has lasted too long

number 3 the fish that have come back from the salt are still active in the mid and mouth

number 4 that action was still only mediocre because the southerly influence continued

number 5 it will fire everywhere tonight close enough to the mouth during in this brief switch to northerly

number 6 it will be zilch by tomorrow when another big southerly front hits front

number 7 stewy swordfisherman phoned me this morning for a chat on good day had by all on yesterday's billfisher trip. stew told me the waves will be 6metere high when this new southerly hits

number 8 they must binge feed tonight boys as the restaurant will be closed at least for a week

hope this cheers everybody up
