Hooky. Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 (edited) Location: Tinonee (Manning River) - Ramp situated off Manchester Street. Parking/condition: Plenty of parking along the roads edge leading to the ramp. Summer time can get busy. Plenty of room for launching, and preparing. Ramp has a small but old wharf along side it, as can be seen in the picture. Facilities: Good ramp for exploring the upper saltwater regions of the Manning River. Good ramp access although a touch on the steep side of things but definately does the job. All the shops, etc are located in Tinonee which is just a short walk up the road. No real amenities such as toilets etc but there are some public toilets located up the road at the Tinonee Oval in Burdett Street or if you are in a boat you can access the toilets across the river at the Taree Estate (Andrews Reserve, Edinburgh Drive) boat ramp and picnic area. Takeaway food shops are also situated in Tinonee as well as fuel and snacks/drinks etc. Edited July 27, 2007 by Hooky.
