Chewy Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Glad I listened to the posts and gave Browns a wide berth. Early Sat morn - hit the waters by 6:30 and went a looking. Finally invited my girlie to somewhere other that the rocks - and finally she got that fish. Anyhow final tally for the day between four of us from longreef and Avalon reefs was couple of nice reddies, two kingies - 55cm and 61cm yay I broke my 07 kingie drought), the regular Monster PJ that was intent on getting to know me better. I on the other hand did not want his little love bites. Loads of wrasses, a few drummer, a sergeant baker Little Dee got a nice trevor and a few Slimeys. Glad her new tackle is finally broken in. Here she is..... happy as! Thanks to the gang on board - I learnt a few things from Upu - the PNGian handline fisho that taught me a thing or two about handlines....... although I am going to have to witness first hand a Marlin catch on handline beofore I will believe it.... Anyhow - great day out. THanks Merv for the invite to be your deckie........anytime!! Chewy
