locodave Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Hi people! I will be staying around woy woy over the weekend. I have no access to a boat so I was wondering if anyone know any good areas where I could get some blackies? On another note, are they still at the Entrance like usual?
luderick -angler Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 locodave, try around the swimming baths and adjacent rock wall on the run out, the rail and road bridge run out tide on the gosford side under the bridge! there also the weed beds and wharf at Davistown, the rail bridge at Gosford, the Entrance has been producing fish i myself have not been up there but my cousin whos at Davistown tells me there are fish there he did not elaborate, if you like a bit of rock hopping try the skillion at Terrigal or Mugs at Avoca, they also get good fish at Mc Masters, just check the swell first! Hope this helps. LA

Guest DV8 Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Dave I cannot tell you where they are, but I can tell you where they are not - THE ENTRANCE. Went up there on Sunday and there were two lonely fishermen only. Davo
