mrmoshe Posted August 5, 2007 Share Posted August 5, 2007 (edited) LOCATION:Long Reef Ramp Collaroy CONDITION OF RAMP/ACCESS: One lane concrete ramp with concrete splays either side on to soft sand. There are warning signs posted stating that this can be a dangerous ramp at low tide or adverse conditions. When the pictures were taken this afternoon, it was just after high tide with a 9 knot south westerly blowing. Looked quite calm but it can turn ugly there in the wrong wind. PARKING/FACILITIES: Fish cleaning table with running water and sink. Parking for 18 trailers...reverse park your trailer onto the grass. Additional 50 single car spots. Run by Warringah Council and all parking is a "Pay & Display" system. Fees: $4:00 per hour or $8:00 all day. 7am to 7pm.
