I know that they can be $300 or $3000, so this where we need help, can we spend 3 or 4 or 5 hundred and get a good little unit. Hope some Raiders can help us.. Cheers Ray R... The Garmin 72 is worth a look. The other is Magellan eXplorist 100. I think Lowrance also make a hand held unit. I looked at the 72 & 100 at the boat show. Both had similar features , decided on the Magellan , main reason , my old unit is a Magellan & happy with the performance. Price wise , Magellan $225 , Garmin 72 $235. These were show specials.
