Gates At Nepean Ramp

hi raiders, about a few post back on the gates at the nepean boat ramp not open till 5am.

i might be blind but i have never seen gates there,

am i wrong and haven't noticed them because im sure all bard up and

myself were on the water just before 5am and rzep(hi paul) was all ready fishing.

can anyone clear this up for us.

There are indeed gates there and if you had of noticed when I arrived at the ramp at 5:00am last week only the entry gates were open the exit gates were still closed. I think that some of the fisho's that were down there last saturday opened the entry gate as I am lead to beleive that you can get a key for the gate.

Don't know how true that is though, would like to find out.

They are opened around 5:00am each day by the council.

thanks for that paul, it has been a long time since lin and myself have been parking down there.

we own a house now, no need to go down there late or early morning(xcept for fishing)

If you're in the Penrith council area of ratepayers you are able to get a key for "keeps" upon paying a small deposit.

Just contact Penrith council.

Nah I didn't get a chance today.

I was meant to be going down tomorrow morning with Watto but I have to get a haircut in the morning as I have a wedding to goto tomorrow. So I had to cancell tomorrow also.

Good luck on Sunday. I would come down but will be back at work.
