Lasty Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 (edited) I need to get a tow bar bike carrier and have noticed that there are two types, the black single bar non-removeable type and the gold twin bar removable type. abiasin Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 my old man has the gold removable type and its easy to use, very stable and the better of the two types. with my dads astra you need the removable one to be able to open the hatch when the bike rack is connected. being removable it unlocks and slides enough to open the hatch where the fixed on needs to be completely removed. hope i have made some sense, i know what im talking about i think.
