Kirks
hey fellas I was reading in a mag about trolling for jewies during the day. He seemed to be catching good fish (nothing over a metre.) I was thinking of giving it a go, he was using 6-14lbs line and a 4-6 kilo rod I have purist baitcaster. Does anyone think i should go heavier in the tackle When I am trolling I will probally be using halco lasers pro 190 kirks Edited November 22, 2007 by Kirkby
Red
I suppose it depends where you do your trolling and the size of fish you are likely to come across. I wouldn't be trolling big fish haunts such as the Hawkesbury Road/Rail Bridges with 6-14lb line. There's simply no future in that Cheers Red
