Honda 4 Stroke 15hp Needs Fixing

Recently my 15hp honda 4 stroke outboard has has some sort of electrical short which resulted in basically all three cables in the tiller arm joint (both throttle and kill switch) melting the insultating rubber around them and fusing together in some way.

The throttle control on the tiller arm now cannot rotate.

Everything else is fine bar the throttle control and kill switch.

I was wondering if anyone here knows of a honda dealer near hornsby area (or any other marine mechanic which has the parts) that could fix this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Greg, we can have a look at if you like and order the parts. Or you could just take it a Honda guy and get him to look at it. We are booked out till the new year, but I could possibly get it done for you B4 Xmas if the parts are available.
