gee those blackies out of the lake at the moment are looking healthy i caught a few smaller ones on wed and one that i kept was full of green weed and fat.

Nice fat blackies Peter. I saw a big school near the Woolies bridge last week cruising by

but they were gone in minutes..spooked by a passing boat.

I was targeting flatties so had no hope of getting any that day.

Beautiful looking fish, Peter!! Well done! Terrific condition.

A couple of the ones we got the other day were really silver ocean ones. Lovely looking fish. Cam didn't even think they were blackies! They were chocka full of cabbage, too.

Where abouts at the lake do you fish for the Blackies ?

I normally target fish with baits there and try for Blackies off the wharfs...being 5 minutes away from the lake I'd be keen for a pointer as to where to try for them...if you've left some that is...

go down the lake opp the caravan park between 9 and12 this morn[10 would be perfect] with fresh weed or cabbage and i bet you catch some at the moment it is very busy down there ,but plenty of fish
