james7
"Pic-A-Box" Syd and myself fished for a few hours last Sunday afternoon in Bate Bay, drifting in the strong NE wind from Boat Harbour to Greenhills. Picked up the odd flathead, squire, yakka and slimy. Floated a live yakka out but it wasn't touched. Decided to troll around the bay and managed two tailor, one of which started jumping like a barra - great fun. I wish I'd caught it jumping on film. The wind got stronger and stronger so we called it a day and were back at the ramp by 4.30pm. Here was the final catch. Not the best day (too windy), but ended up with a good feed for both of us. The smoked tailor fillets were great. Cheers

jewgaffer
Hi Peter You got a good feed of flathead there mate. No doubt about your deckie Pick-A-Box Syd Pete we named him well ay. Bob Dyer would have hired him as a decoy when he was fishing somewhere else. Cheers jewgaffer
