Geoff Posted March 1, 2008 Share Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) Going through my photo album looking for "kid" pic's for the other post I came across some photo's I took in the late 90's in Penang. Early each year there is the Hindu Thaipusam festival. It goes 24 hours a day for around 3 days. It is quite a spectical especially the colours of the ladies saries . A number of guys go into a trance & without pain or blood , so I'm told , come out looking like this or numerous variations there of . It places a new aspect to those who have been unfortunate in having a fishing hook caught in their body . Geoff PS Perhaps I should mention the silver balls (bell) hanging off the sholder are also hooked on.
