Kirks
G'day all I am hoping to get down to narrabeen beach late in the afternoon just before sun down. i am going to the north end and i am fishing with a spheros 14000fa, FSU5120 rod,15kg line, 40 or 80 pound trace (80 pound just because i don't want to lose my jewie), 2 8/0 mustad big reds or hoodlums. Is my gear worth of a jew. what bait should I use now at this time of year, i was think a strip of tailor, i am restricted to only dead bait . i will be taking the warm gear just in case. luderick59
hi kirkby afternoon tides at the moment are low at sundown so lob a fillet of talior into the runout of the lake and free spool it out where the jews and big bream may be waiting good luck peter
xtosea
Your gear is fine, any fresh bait is good, make sure it looks natural and you have sharp hooks. Kamil
