pro fisher
hi all, i have seen in many pictures that you can connect your garden hose to your outboard when flushing your motor or just when running it to save you filling up a big tub of water. do any of you know where i can get the connector needed to plug it in to my 15 hp mariner, and if so how much for? cheers, Tom. SUFFO
If the motor all ready has the hosingattachments needed, not sure but probally pick one up at one of the 2 big boating suppliers otherwise just get a cheap $2 hose multi function sprayer with a piece screwing in at the bottom of the hadle and you will find these fit as I used this when I could not find the original at first. Cheers Adam. Edited March 21, 2008 by SUFFO
pro fisher
ok then. well i am only suspecting that i can conect it to the hose as it has a screw 3/4 of the way down the shaft next to oil level screw and it says "wash" on it...
IWANNABROCK
My mariner 25 had that wash plug, could never undo it.
amkulic
Yeh mate and if that doesn't work....you can always buy a clamp which is very cheap that will go over your water intake to connect the hose to. Good luck Cheers
