jay power
hi all, went out last nite to a spot in the georges river that was suggested to me by jewgaffer.got there about 5pm and persivered with the rain caught a few small tailor.then later in the night just before the top of the tide one of the rods are going off.after a short struggle landed what would be a possible pb bream, didnt have a measuring tape but had scales and it weighed exactly a kilo.then as the tide turned to run out just after midnight i had a hot bite for the next hour, landed another 4 bream one wich was about 850grams and a few more over 25 cms, also released another 10 just under legal. overall a very good nite fishing ,most fish were caught at the top of the tide and first hour or so on the run out, fish were caught on pillies and hawesbury prawns interesting find when cleaning the big bream.found a birds beack in its stomach thanks for the location jewgaffer and by the way i met ur mate con down there in the arvo, gave us a few tips too cheers jay ps will post pics as soon as my mate downloads them from his fone. aussie big bob
Hi Jay If there is one man that knows the Georges and the Hawkesbury it’s the Jew gaffer. Great to hear that his advice has lead you to some great catches. So all i can say is go the gaffer and i hope that many more beginner’s will take his advice as i have done. Cheers Bob
