james44 Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 hey there guys i was woundering if any of you have a opion on what you might think is a good downrigger.. i know the price can go up and down for different types of downriggers and thats why i was woundering what are you getting when you spend around $1,000 on a downrigger that is so much better than spending half that price on one??? .. and could anyone tell me any good brands that they personly like...? i just am woundering as im just think of getting one and would like to here what you guys have to say about them.. cheers guys Cox Craft

Electrics are great if you get serious, but wait till you get serious Round bombs work as well as the sharks. Don't skimp on the clips or else you will be stopping every 10 minutes. Elastic bands work as well as the clips if you take the time to learn how to use them initially. Robbie
