Underwater Camera

I want to buy Iwannajewy a camera that he can take fishing and also when he goes snorkelling. Would it be best to buy a camera and a waterproof case or an actual underwater camera. Also, can anyone recommend a decent camera? I don't want to spend to much, price range up to $300 or so. Also, if anyone has an underwater camera, it would be good if you could post some pics taken with your camera. Thanks in advance fellow raiders.

hi how r u i think u will find that the cases start at around 350 and go from there i have one for my slr and it was more than the camera

Hi MRSIWANNAJEWY, I bought an underwater camera month back for my son, I know I spent a bit on it but I wanted a good one , this was the best of the bunch, I have mucked around with it in a couple of rock pools aronnd Avoca and they came out pretty good.
