Danielsan Posted October 1, 2008 Share Posted October 1, 2008 Hi Guys, was out on Monday for a king session. managed a few squid, but i'm after yakkas and more importantly slimeys (the best bait). slinkymalinky Posted October 1, 2008 Share Posted October 1, 2008 G'day Danielsan, I'd trade one squid for a dozen yakkas for Kings any day. Slimeys are good but not as easy to find reliably. Even last summer when the kings were happy scoffing jellybean yakkas, the squid was still always the first bait hit when we had it out. Clifton Gardens or around the wedding cake sometimes seem to produce slimeys and yakkas early in the season... haven't heard anything lately though.
