Dreamtime
Definately weird weather indeed. Batten down Raiders - this sounds like a "mini cyclone" Something to do with the "as long as that eddie of hot stuff stays" Ross Hunter talks about??? Or just put it down to El Nino? Good Luck
jewgaffer
I'll be fishing the Hawkesbury with five others in the morning and the southerly blow up tonight should churn things up a bit. The southerly is expected to move on overnight. The morning forecast is for slight to moderate s/w/s winds for our daybreak start. The wind is expected to change the opposite way to n/e around 2pm during the early run out and change again to n/w as the tide starts to run out again a couple of hours after midnight. A night session looks pretty good for Bar Point with two wind changes much more favourable than what we've had if anyone wants to have a go at the jew and fish overnight tomorrow. We'll be fishing a day session in the mouth area tomorrow and will be off the water around 4pm, so let's hope I can post up a good report on squid and fish in general and we will be hitting Flint and Steel for a go at the jew for a couple of hours after this rain.
