Ross Hunter
Had a great day today fishing the Georges with my great friend and the “Georges River Guru Norm Jefferies’ and my 16 and half year old Staffy Nara ( aboriginal for companion). What great fisherman is Norm, a humble man who has taught me much about blackfishing and the River a total gentleman. We caught over 20 Blackfish keeping 13 between us A most peaceful day on our river. Good fishing and great company

damoksy
Hey Ross, Great fish there. Any chance of letting us know roughly where abouts on the Georges it was. I've recently moved near the river and been trying a few spots but haven't had much luck. Cheers, Damian

gretsch
I use the egg beater in the river and the Avon off the breakwalls ETC Ross I have never tried a Centre Pin.. that is one piece of kit I don't have.. might have to invest!!
Ross Hunter
I have never tried a Centre Pin.. that is one piece of kit I don't have.. might have to invest!! We cast 20 metres at times, hence the egg beaters My advice is if there is any distance to cast at your spot stick with the egg beater Ross
