Guest linton Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 (edited) YFT are very abundant ob the West Coast of Oz. The trouble with catching these things is that you have to get them in the boat before the sharks get them!! We are in a 3.7 meter tinnie as you can see and we were getting 15 foot Tigersharks eating our fish. If anyone has had this happen to them they will know how annoying it is to lose a beautiful tuna and a $20 lure. So if you are ever fishing on the reefs on the west coast always bring about 10 spare lures because you are going to need them. You can even see a small bite mark from a small whaler which followed this fish up. Hope you enjoy the pickie. Edited November 22, 2008 by linton
