Josh88
Hi guys, We've got a Garmin GPS/Sounder i think its a 450s model, and one of the gold pin like things that fits into the plug connected to the transducer has snapped and hence it won't turn on. Just wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem and if they know any solutions and should it come under warranty? Cheers Josh
Robbielites
This is what the Garmin guy on another site said when some one else had the same issue.. You need to send in Garmin stuff for repair to Unit 19 167 Prospect Highway Seven Hills NSW 2147 You will most likely receive a new unit, with a service charge on the replacement. Include a note with your details and the problem, we will look after it ASAP....
Josh88
Thanks Robbie, Sent it off today and we've only had it for about 10 months so its still under warranty which is good. Cheers Josh
Josh88
All done and sorted in a few days, Garmin sending out a replacement unit immediately which was good of them. Josh
