zoki
I totally disagree to these marine parks even if they say that there will be dedicated areas for fisherman. I as a recreational fisherman, already find that going to a harbour fishing spot such as Clifton Gardens is greatly overcrowded. Now if this national marine park go's ahead can you imagine the amount of people that will be crammed into the dedicated fishing areas. The other negative would also be the actual placing of dedicated areas, they could be in a place where there are no fish. These proposed marine parks will kill the recreational fishing industry in Sydney, as we will not have any place to go. I, as many other fisho's, have always had a fishing license from our childhood days and every year purchased a national parks permit, but now if this go's ahead, if feel that i will not be needing these any more. So, if nobody purchases licenses how will the Fisheries & NPA survive?
