new2fishing
I've always wondered that myself - i go past on the train every morning. Id like to know to.
Raii
Havent fished there myself, but always travelling past it on the train and noticing the high and low tides, the water level is VERY shallow there, I'd much rather go elsewhere, say Easthills/Picnic point if you are going to fish somewhere around there. Im pretty sure the jumping fish are mullets as they are all over east hills/picnic point Edited January 30, 2009 by Raii
BalmainBob
I dont know how clean the water is in that creek as it is the main drainage system for the industrial area around Canterbury road at Bankstown. The mangroves look heathy enoungh though. I also recon that there would be quite a few muddies hanging out in there. Cheers Balmain Bob
zrealist
I often see the fish jumping would it be that there r jewys chasing them? Do you guys think the shallow waters near there would have jewys?
A.dawg
There are loads off mullet and a few bream and flatties for those using poppers or divers like SX40's the hard part is finding them they are all around the rail bridge and along about 200m boths side if you make your way across you'll get some very nice bream there but i wouldn't eat it...
