Left Rose Bay at 5am and headed out about 4 miles straight off the heads. We had a small bet to see who would win the day and with a catch like mine I had no chance of loosing. Got back at 1pm, had a small weigh in, then we headed over the rocks for a nice lunch. Got back home about 5pm. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

funnierthanu Posted February 6, 2009 Author Share Posted February 6, 2009 awesome catch mate.... dont see many reds like that caught off sydney in summer... how deep were u fishing??? around 70m???? what did the biggest red weigh??? Felt like 100mtrs but was prob more like 80mtrs, was hard work winding up 1lb sinkers all day. The snapper was about 5lb and the mowie was 3lb.
