Hodgey Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Considering the amount of media sharks have received recently, you would have to wonder about this event wouldn't you? News article: Harbour swim this weekeend Hodgey
glennmreid Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I wouldn't be game. You are supposed to be safer swimming in groups, but I still wouldn't be keen for a swim.
jewgaffer Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 With all the action going on at the moment, I wouldn't advise anyone to swim in the Harbour right now even if dressed up as a killer whale...They would probably be left alone by the sharks and torn apart and eaten by another killer whale. I can remember a similiar season like this when people could only swim in between multiple shark alarms during February and March and kingfish were caught off Carr's Park pool and at both Hawkesbury bridges. Cheers jewgaffer
Mrwooley Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I was going to take the boat out for a fish. I might try the harbour, I wo'nt need burley! Barry.
