daleyboy Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 Gday folks, After using nothing but braid for the past few years im looking at spooling my 15kg overhead outfit with some pre test mono as i will mainly be using it for trolling skirts out wide in the hope of a small marlin or tuna, and possibly some livebaiting on the surface. Can anyone recommend a particular brand? I need at least 350M and i've seen 500m spools of (igfa tested) 15kg line going as cheap as $25 and also well over $70. fishmad Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 Hi Mate, I have done a fair bit of shark fishing over the years all on 15kg line , We have fought up to 8 hours on some fish on 5kg drag pressure !
