JeffMc
My trailer is 30 years old and checking with Boeing they no longer make the wheels for this trailer. They are checking with their supplier but I'm not hopeful. The bearings are imperial which means the inner and outer bearings are the same size. Unlike the later models which used Holden bearings these being and large inner bearing and a small outer bearing. They also advised these are about to be discontinued. I just don't like the idea of going up the expressway to Brooklyn and getting a flat. If any one has one of these lying around and no use for it please let me know. The only other alternative will be to change the axle to one with hubs and 5 studs as that is what smaller trailers are now being fitted with. Helps to put the size they are 480/400 8" Edited March 13, 2005 by JeffMc
Guest bluecod
Jeff, What size rims are they? My father's trailer was a lot older than that and fitted with Morris Mini rims, I think 10" X 3.5" rims. I don't have any rims lying around but the wreckers probably would.
Bashir
Some wheels that fit trailers include older bmw wheels, rav4's, older holdens like toranas and Im pretty sure my uncle's old trailer has an old set of ford xb mags on it.
