hey guys, my buddy and i just caught a 'just legal' king in botany bay.

it has some dark spots down one side and on its tail like some sort of disease...

is it safe to eat? im hungry and i dont know if i should eat it or not?

thanks for the help.

No idea about the spots, but, "if in doubt, throw it out"

1 feed of fish isn't worth getting sick over.

Gotta agree with that, if I was you and caught an obviously diseased kingfish with brown spots and no doubt a bad odour near the tail fin after having a subtle sniff, I wouldn't be bringing it home that's for sure, in fact if eaten as a sushimi it could even carry an undiscovered form of mortuous underarm excrusiosa and excruciating soccodaemia betwixt the cheeks, in fact I wouldn't hesitate not to even gargle the eyes down with a middy of scotch.

Cheers
