Power Tilt/trim

Hi guys

I have a 1978/70hp evinrude fitted with internal tilt/trim system that's stuck in the down position.

All I'm getting when i press the "up" switch is a loud clicking at the soleniod.

I can't access the tilt motor or connections unless it's raised so is there anyway to raise it manually?

If i loosen the fluid plug will that work?

Is there a manual release anywhere?

EDIT:

ok, turns out there is...Manual release/bleeder screw on the right hand side.
