Poddy mullet are supposed to be pretty easy to keep, only ever kept yakkas myself and they lasted about 2-3 months without changing the water Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Species I'd like to keep would be the shallow water juvenile fish that turn up in Tuggerah Lakes: poddy mullet, bream, blackfish, toads even! Any advice on the legality of keeping small bream and snapper say in a tank for a while? Feeding and set up advice would help too.
